It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The weather is a little cooler, people gather together a little more than usual, and of course, it’s the time we celebrate the birth of Christ! We’re glad you’re here as we begin our Advent series called “Messiah”. For the month of December, we are going to be looking at why Christ came to Earth and how He changed the world. Today, we will focus on an Old Testament prophecy that was ful lled by Jesus and how it applies to our lives. Jesus has many names in scripture, but today we’ll be asking: what does it mean that Jesus is our Wonderful Counsellor? Welcome again to Island ECC!
