Human Resources Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support HR operations tasks including but not limited to staff movement, compensation and benefits administration and reporting.
This team member will also assist with maintaining staff records, personal files, leave records and assist in work visa applications but also engage in the recruitment process, post jobs, source and screen candidates and set up interviews.

This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a great sense of confidentiality, flexibility and the ability to think on their feet and provide solutions. The candidate is a degree holder with at least three years of work experience preferably in Human Resources Management, fresh graduates are also welcome and will be considered. Fluency in English language is required and Chinese Word Processing is a plus as well as proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.

Part Time Coordinator of Volunteer Ministry

We are looking for a part time team member who shares a passion to serve God and His church. This position will partner with the Associate Director of Volunteer Ministry to coordinate, develop and mobilize volunteers. This person will serve with and lead volunteer teams, foster community fellowship and provide support for church events. This position also requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, nuanced cultural sensitivities, and high flexibility. The candidate should have a first experience in customer service or other customer- or client-facing occupations (Hospitality, retail, etc). Fluency in English and Cantonese as well as an openness to learning and using social media / community based platforms. This role requires serving on Sundays.

Senior Coordinator of Ministry Support

We are looking for a friendly and energetic person with a heart to serve to join our Ministry Support team full-time in providing administrative and logistical support for our Sunday services, ministry events and facility use. In particular for public events and ministry events, this position will be the point of contact and coordination with ministry leaders, external event organisers, administrative team and church's operation team on event planning and scheduling, floors planning, set up, tear down, third party contractors servicing, billing and payments. This person will also be a staff member on duty during events and sunday services.

The successful candidate will possess an eye for detail, strong multi-tasking / cross reference skills as well as excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Problem solving and organization skills required. The ability to be hospitable while exercising logistical judgment is an asset. Fluency in Cantonese and English, Mandarin proficiency is an advantage. University degree holder with minimum 1-3 year of experiences preferably in Event Operation & Management / Office management / Hospitality / Customer service relations preferred.

Worship Pastor / Director

We are looking for a worship pastor / director to lead the congregation in vibrant, gospel-centered, spirit led, contemporary worship. This full time position plays a key role in our church leadership, responsible for cultivating an atmosphere of worship and fostering spiritual growth to the volunteer vocalists and musicians. This passionate and experienced individual will plan, organize and lead engaging worship services that align with the church’s vision and values. Coordinate and oversee the worship team. Develop a diverse and spiritually enriching worship experiences for all congregants. Proven experiences at leading worship services / worship events and in managing volunteers. Degree in music ministry or a related field is preferred. Experience in using mixing and music/production softwares/tools is a plus.

Associate Director of Women's Ministry

We are looking for a team member with a heart for women of all walks of life. This individual will build and connect with networks of women to engage, train and raise leaders, develop strategic plans for equipping women & support their spiritual growth and expand the ministry reach to women outside of Island ECC by developing and executing on outreach and digital media communications. The candidate is an effective communicator in verbal and written forms with excellent interpersonal skills, tech savvy (ideally with experience with content creation in Canva) and able to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers and ministry partners. Bachelor's graduate preferred and experience in event planning, marketing and/or ministry leadership is highly desirable.
