Creative Video Producer
If you are passionate about innovative and creative video production that speaks to the heart and communicates truth in profound ways, we would love to hear from you.
This full-time staff position will be responsible for developing Island ECC video content. You will be expected to brainstorm with our creative team and conceptualize new videos. This position requires to perform script-writing, storyboarding, directing, filming and editing to create promotional and creative content. With a focus on Hong Kong and Asia, the candidate should also be conscious of Island ECC's aesthetics/branding. 3+ years of experience and proficiency in video editing software tools required, experience with shoot planning (scouting locations, art direction, scheduling, lighting) a plus.
Youth Ministry - Middle School Leader
We are currently seeking a Middle School Leader who will work with the Youth Team to help provide both ministerial and practical support to the youth of Island ECC, particularly those in Middle School (Grades 7 and 8), and to assist in effectively reaching un-churched and non-Christian youth of Hong Kong. This includes planning services, teaching, and lesson planning for weekly small groups meetings and events, leading youth camps, participating in speaking engagements, and organizing city-wide events with the goal to assimilate the Youth into the church community and outreach around schools in Hong Kong.
This individual is a degree holder, Seminary / Youth Ministry / Youth Work preferred with minimum 1-3 years of relevant working experience. Approachable, high energy, and relevant personability is needed to outreach youth in ways that form disciples of Christ. Culturally literate and open to working with youth and volunteers from different denominational backgrounds. The candidate must be flexible and well-versed in social media communication tools. Fluency in English; Cantonese speaking ability is beneficial.
Technical Support Officer
The IT Support Officer at Island ECC helps maintain and support the various hardware and software used by our ministries. It is also the IT team’s mission to innovate and help ministries accomplish their tasks with technology. If you like to problem solve, collaborate with people, and support others behind the scene while seeing ministry at work, this may be a great fit for you.
The candidate is a degree holder with formal IT training or related job experience is required. The candidate is expected to be experienced in computer hardware & software support and deployment, with a good understanding of networking. Basic coding skills are desired, and knowledge in Audio, Video, and Lighting technology is a plus.
Human Resources Assistant
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to support HR operations tasks including but not limited to staff movement, compensation and benefits administration and reporting.
This team member will also assist with maintaining staff records, personal files, leave records and assist in work visa applications but also engage in the recruitment process, post jobs, source and screen candidates and set up interviews.
This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a great sense of confidentiality, flexibility and the ability to think on their feet and provide solutions. The candidate is a degree holder with at least three years of work experience preferably in Human Resources Management, fresh graduates are also welcome and will be considered. Fluency in English language is required and Chinese Word Processing is a plus as well as proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.
Associate Director of Men's Ministry
Men’s ministry is hiring a passionate individual that will encourage, lead, and develop spiritually men who serve as brothers, husbands, fathers and ministry leaders. This associate director is responsible for organising, planning and directing programs that will equip the men of our church. He must have a heart for men and desire to walk alongside them to help them grow their personal relationship with God through small group gatherings and discipling volunteer leaders. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, social media literacy and attention to details. A degree holder with 3 years of relevant experiences, ministry experience highly preferred.
Associate Director of Children's Ministry
The children's ministry is looking for a full-time team member who shares a desire to nurture the next generation and develop / implement strategies for whole-family discipleship. This position will assist the team with planning, preparing and organising primary age children curriculum taught on Sundays; advise, lead and train volunteers and empower families through talks and engagement opportunities. The candidate has at least 3-5 years of relevant experiences working with children in ministry settings or education capacity. An energetic and outgoing personality is needed, a strong communicator with both parents and volunteers is essential, plus excellent attention to details and creativity. English language proficiency is required. Candidates with less experience will be considered at a senior coordinator level.
Sunday Operations Ministry Assistant
The Sunday Operations Ministry is looking for a team member who shares a passion to serve God and His church. This position will assist in the administrative and practical support of Sunday Services scheduling, maintain and administer the varied Sunday-related programs, and provide project management alongside the Pastor of Sunday Operations for church-wide communication initiatives and events. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, solid organizational skills (ability to assess priorities and multi-task), and quick problem-solving in live or offline operating conditions. An openness to learning and using new technologies and project management software is required. The candidate should have at least 3 years of proven experience in project management/communication & Marketing/customer service areas. Fluency in English. Knowing Cantonese language is a plus.
