Pressing On
Philippians 3:12-16
We've reprinted an article for you today on the back of this insert which I found interesting.
Contrasting Buddha and Jesus' views on happiness, I think you will find it interesting. The author,
Jon Bloom, is the director of Desiring God Ministries, and offers good insight to the differences of
these two faiths. In light of getting a day off of work because of Buddha, you might consider
reading a bit to become a more informed. Hey...it's the least you can do, right?
Today we turn our attention to Philippians 3 and hear what Paul has to say about "sanctification".
This theological word really just means "growing in Christ", and Paul is going to share with us his
motivation and insight as to how that should happen. Having been "justified", and looking forward
to one day when we are "glorified", we live in between these two worlds, and are being
"sanctified".
