Jesus didn’t dislike rich people. However, many of his words about wealth would lead us to believe that somehow he wasn’t impressed with money. In fact, he plainly states that the more money you have, the more difficult it is to see a need for God. Money, like any other objects of idolatry, can obscure our real spiritual condition.
