Mephibosheth was a man "lame in both feet". His physical limitations were symbolic of a life that could accomplish little. But when David seeks him out, he brings him wealth, status, and makes him family. A "loser" is transformed by an unexpected deposit of grace. And we can be changed by that same, counter-intuitive concept of grace as well.
