The Garden of Gethsemane is located on the Mount of Olives, across the Kidron Valley from where the temple mount is located in Jerusalem. It is here where the weight of what Jesus has to endure for humanity begins to take hold. He is filled with sorrow and agony and it is through this pain that we begin our journey to the cross.
