We’re on a new sermon series on the names of God called “I AM” and we are starting with Elohim, which means strength and power and is translated as God in English. We’ll see how this is not just a distant, impersonal aspect of God, but a characteristic that puts Him right near us. We first see the name Elohim in the very famous first line of the Bible: “In the beginning”. A very good place for us to start this series.
