Senior Adults

“We do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison…” 2 Corinthians 4:16-17

Senior adults are more diverse than ever. Some work, others are retired. Some are physically challenged to varying degrees. Maturing adults benefit from engagements with others their age that connects them with God’s grace, and accents the positive purpose of later life.

Island ECC has an organised ministry, “Prime Time”, for adults who are 50+ and in the “prime” of life. We provide a monthly Friday night gathering with worship, fellowship, special features, and dinner at each gathering. Special events are also held from time to time.

We encourage participation in a small group or care group, some of which are led by those who are 50. We are also hopeful that you, as a mature adult can find avenues in our church and community to provide leadership, mentoring, and service to younger generations.
