Mainland China

There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. — Ephesians 4:4–6

Christianity on the Chinese mainland dates back to the 7th century Tang Dynasty. While Christianity is seeing rapid growth on the mainland, it is still tightly controlled by the government as China remains the world’s largest communist state. Island ECC works to sustain and encourage the gospel’s spread throughout the Chinese mainland by supporting long-term partners and short-term outreach trips.

Long-Term Partnership

We support 3 organisations and 2 families in different parts of China. Many are focused on church planting and church development to raise up new local church leaders. We also have partners in the field who work to bring light and hope in fields of trafficking and exploitation.

Short-Term Outreach Trips

*Due to the current global health situation, our Short-term Outreach Trips were cancelled or postponed. We will resume our Short-term Outreach Trips when situation allows*
