Shannon Hilliard

Shannon Hilliard grew up in Texas and received her degree in nursing from Texas Tech. She was on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) at the University of Texas and in Asia. Her first mission trip was to Uganda working with Community Health Evangelism. She also worked as a pediatric nurse in trauma and oncology, and most recently at Hong Kong International School.

She moved to Hong Kong with her husband in 2001 to be a part of a new church called Island ECC. She currently serves as Director of Marvel Ministry, where the highlight of her week is taking a team for a day visit to the Shenzhen special needs orphanage.

Shannon is the mother of the original fantastic four, Abigail, Hudson, Mary Grace and Zane. She loves roasted chestnuts, hiking, French bulldogs, and studying the Word of God with women.
