Kevin Iu

Kevin Iu was born and raised in Hong Kong. After graduating from Applied Science and Engineering, University of Toronto, in 2011, he returned to Hong Kong and began his career as a geotechnical engineer.

He started attending Island ECC in 2012, where he joined Hope of the City as a volunteer serving the elderly. His passion for seniors stemmed from his childhood being loved and nurtured by his grandmother. Kevin decided to pursue full time ministry with Hope of the City in 2015, with a heart for the marginalized in Hong Kong. For nearly 10 years, Kevin has worked closely with other non-profits to empower like-minded volunteers to care for the 'least of these' in our city.

Kevin met his wife at University of Toronto where she invited him to a campus fellowship that led him to faith in Christ. They have been married since 2017 and enjoy savouring each sunrise and sunset they can watch wherever they are.
