Alan Leung

Alan Leung is a third culture kid born in Hong Kong, childhood in Canada, and further education in the UK. He earned a BA in Economics (Manchester) and a Master's in Social Work (University of Hong Kong). Alan met his wife, Jen, at university in the UK and they have two children with an eight year age gap!

Worshipping at Island ECC since they first came to faith in 2011, Alan served in different ministries with a passion for social services, Men's Ministry, and Pure Desire Ministry. Before joining the IECC staff team, Alan had worked in the corporate world in recruitment, investment and an extended time in family business. Through professional counseling and prayer ministry training, Alan finds joy in walking with people through life's journey and is a mental health advocate. Spiritual formation is at the heart of Alan's mission to build up others in discipleship, mentorship, and spirituality. He is currently studying for a Master in Global Leadership at Fuller Seminary.

Alan and Jen love family time with their sons and widow mothers as well as their care group as they fellowship into the night over the weekends.
