One of the most fulfilling moments in our Christian journey is when we see how God's plans for our lives and His plans for the world meet together. That's what missions is!
Missions is a great adventure where we go outside our walls and see what God is doing in the world. It's a challenge to step out in faith to go beyond what's comfortable and familiar. It's the great reward of knowing more about ourselves and about God in a deeper way.

Keynote Speakers:
Timothy Davis: Timothy has been the president of an international educational organisation for the past 16 years, which places passionate people in contact with eager students in both classrooms and personal settings. They are also involved in numerous projects in “global hotspots” where Hope is desperately needed. Tim's leadership experience spans more than 30 years of work. He and his wife love being with people who quickly become their friends.
Lawrence Tong: Lawrence, Operation Mobilisation's International Director, is based in Singapore. A visionary leader, he is commited to fostering innovation in world missions. Lawrence is also a compelling storyteller who inspires many people to pray, give, and go. He is married to Susan, who is from America, and they have two grown sons, Joshua and Benjamin.

Global Missions: Making the Big World Small
When we look around our world there are countless opportunities to serve our neighbours. And for global missions, the work is seemingly never completed. With so much out there, we ask ourselves: What can I do to help? How can I join in this effort? Knowing there are so many needs, how can one person lend a hand? This workshop will explore these questions and more as we think about how we can all work together to make the huge concept of global missions small enough to grasp.
Work as Ministry: How the Secular becomes Sacred
Christians can often think that ministry is doing the sacred work of God, while secular work is of the world. But in God, there is no sacred–secular divide. In Jesus, all of life is sacred and all of life is ministry. Therefore all our work is sacred. But how do we live this out? Most of us spend a big part of our lives in the marketplace. When we see how our work and ministry are connected, we will find greater meaning and satisfaction in our work.
