Title: Live a Discerning Life

The Christian life is full of blessings, but also full of ups and downs. Christians face daily challenges and obstacles just like anybody else. Moreover, spiritual attack from the Enemy is real. As such, many Christians find it discouraging and doubt their relationship with God.
So, how should we discern what is going on in our lives? Are there guidelines for us to better understand what is going on? How can we claim God’s help in times of needs? And what can we do, in practical ways, so that we may better experience the peace and maturity that we aspire to have?
In this 2-week course, we will briefly examine the “Discernment of Spirits” as taught by St. Ignatius of Loyola. We will examine some concepts and practical guidelines that will help us (1) discern what is going on in our lives, and, (2) navigate through the difficult times.
Who is this for?
This course is best for those who are taking their Christian faith seriously, and are seeking to faithfully walk with God in their daily lives.

Pastor Albert has been serving in Island ECC since 2008. He is currently supervising the Discipleship Ministry which includes Care Group, Men, Women, Young Adult, and the Equipping ministries. His main biblical interest is in the Life and Letters of Paul the Apostle.
