Every believer knows prayer is essential to the Christian life. Yet we rarely meet Christians who do it consistently. It seems so simple, yet so difficult. We read about the prayer life of Jesus and His disciples, and it feels far away — almost surreal.
There’s a lot of mystery wrapped around this thing called prayer. Yet it is one of the greatest gifts God has given us in Christ Jesus. Prayer is a lifelong calling and a lifelong pursuit. And like every other part of the Christian walk, it was never meant to be figured out alone.
Prayer needs to be taught — but even more, it needs to be caught. It must be experienced. It takes a praying community to sustain the prayer life of individuals.
So, come join us. Let this monthly community be the space we hold for God to move. May the Holy Spirit teach us to pray and help us participate in the perpetual intercession of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ.
Things to expect:
- Short teachings focused on loving God and ministering to God through prayer
- Extended prayer time (30–45 minutes)
- Small group discussions and mutual prayer support
