Intensive: Precept Upon Precept (PUP) Book of Romans

After many years of being part of the church, one of the foundational spiritual disciplines to consider is deep Bible study. Precept Upon Precept (PUP) is a rich Bible study ministry. The richness compels the doctrine to be investigated through chapter, word, and theme study. There will be extensive reading, especially in cross-referencing the book of Romans. One thing is certain: there will be a lot of hard work that will bring out a freshness of knowing the Scripture.

Participants are those who are willing to intentionally sit with God through the Bible, with a weekly allocated time of around 2-3 hours to go through the weekly required materials. The facilitator will offer suggestions, assistance, guidance, and teaching to help those who are new or seasoned in deep Bible study learn what inductive Bible study looks like.

This is not for the lighthearted, but when compelled by the love of God to know the Triune God, then this is something to invest in your eternity of knowing God. The posture the facilitator is looking for is C.A.R. (Curiosity, Affinity, and Religiosity), which will be explained further in relation to the vision and mission of the Intensive group.

Since this is 39 weeks, 4 parts, the facilitator will explain the schedule and will need flexibility and commitment from those planning to participate to enrich each person's knowledge of God and fellowship with one another. In the hope of worship and iron sharpening iron in the process of sanctification, as we study the book of Romans together as one body of Christ.
