Biblathon 2025
Biblathon is an initiative for a reading marathon that involves reading the Bible cover to cover out loud in various languages. The entire initiative will span approximately 4.5 days and will be participated in by people and churches around the world.
This activity aims to promote church unity by building connections with believers worldwide, uniting under a shared faith in God’s Word. It seeks to praise God through the reading of His Word and to proclaim the good news by bringing it to a broader audience, highlighting the relevance and importance of His Word in today’s world.
This year, Island ECC will participate in reading 1 Chronicles, which will be livestreamed at the time detailed above. We are opening sign-ups for readers to join as a group.
Who is it for: Anyone passionate about the Bible, eager to make an impact by expanding the reading of God’s Word to the world, and eager to experience the work of God.
How it works:
- Sign up to be a reader.
- Our team will allocate a chapter and time slot to you one week before the reading day.
- Show up at 11/F Living Room C promptly at 7:45pm.
- Read aloud the allocated chapter in front of our livestream equipment.
- Readers will be dismissed after Island ECC’s group reading time ends. You can continue watching the livestream on your own.
If you are not participating as a reader but want to listen to the livestreamed Bible reading, it will be available live on YouTube.
