In this class, you will have a chance to:
1. Sharpen Your Critical Thinking Skills
Explore the question of whether Christians and Muslims worship the same God and foster critical thinking skills that help you understand Islam and enhance your dialogue with Muslims.
2. Gain a Deeper Understanding of Christianity and Islam
Enrich your interfaith literacy by discovering the core theological tenets of both Christianity and Islam, focusing on key areas of divergence such as their understanding of monotheism, the role of Jesus Christ, paths to salvation, the nature of revelation, and the relationship between God and humanity.
3. Navigate Christian-Muslim Dialogue with Confidence and Sensitivity
Learn why understanding the differences between the Christian and Islamic conceptions of God equips you to be bold and diplomatic when having conversations with Muslims.
Who is it for: Christians who want to be poised, persuasive and pleasant communicators when having a dialogue with Muslims.
