The Egypt (Kairos) Mission Trip provides a unique opportunity to complete a mission-themed course while serving local communities and refugees in the heart of Cairo, Egypt.
This team will partner with one of our Supported Partners of the church, AWEMA (Arab World Evangelical Minister’s Association), who has been serving the locals and church leaders from neighboring countries by equipping them through their seminary, providing medical care, spiritual care, and other support to the refugee community. During the trip, the team will spend time both learning in the classroom about missions and out in the community serving alongside AWEMA.
What is the mission-themed course?
Kairos Course is a 10-session course that helps us to understand God's missions from different perspectives, and more importantly, how we can participate in this great work to fulfill the Great Commission. This interactive course includes worship, prayer sessions for the unreached & persecuted, special activities, and more.
You will:
- discover the missionary thread from Genesis to Revelation
- glimpse the awesome advance of Christianity around the world
- Explore the challenge, yet achievable, final frontiers of world Christian mission
- Identify your part and place in the expansion and growth of God’s kingdom worldwide
- Learn from some of today’s leading mission personalities, theologians, and historians
