For over 30 years, the Christian Concern for the Homeless Association (CCHA) has been serving those without shelter by providing consistent outreach services to the homeless community and offering temporary housing for men and mothers with young children facing financial crises. Recently, CCHA opened a community center called "Home" in the heart of Sham Shui Po’s arts and cultural district. This center will host various activities for beneficiaries and visitors alike, aiming to destigmatize the image of underprivileged communities by fostering meaningful interactions.
This event invites participants to enjoy a four-course, home-cooked meal prepared by the CCHA mothers. The evening is designed to evoke the warmth of a home dinner, where attendees can hear personal stories from one of the women in temporary housing and connect with CCHA frontline workers over a meal. This dinner will take place on Friday, May 23 from 7:00pm-9:30pm and is an ideal opportunity for care groups to sign up as a social event.
*A suggested donation of HKD 200 per participant is recommended to cover the meal costs and support CCHA’s operations.
