Come to this Info Session on Zoom to hear from the leaders of the upcoming mission trip to Taitung, Taiwan this summer. This team will live out God’s command through Romans 1 to mutually strengthen and encourage one another through our spiritual gifts. The team will support a local Aboriginal village church in the rural area of Tai Tung where Island ECC had been partnering with for over a decade.
The schedule includes: (a) Experiencing local Eco-tourism
(b) Facilitating a two day summer camp
(c) Developing faith formation in cross-cultural context with Aboriginal believers.
Objectives:
- Great Commission (Matthew 28): To believe, to understand and live out what it means to go to all nations to appropriate and sanctify our hearts in the power of the Good News (Missio Dei).
- Love God (John 13): To abide by Jesus’s command to love God because we are created in His own image (Imago Dei).
- Love One Another (1 John 4): To practice spiritual discipline through discipleship as we fellowship and train in supernatural love for one another (Phileo).
