Island ECC partners with Hong Kong Christian Kun Sun Association (HKCKSA) in organizing our Prison Ministry. Each month, our church will send groups of registered volunteer teams to visit 2 local prisons to carry out bible study and share the gospel with the English-speaking inmates inside.
What to Expect:
We have invited representatives from HKCKSA to share with us the details of the overall prison ministry in Hong Kong, the updated visitation regulations and guidelines from Hong Kong Correction Service (HKCS), and how we can get involved to serve as volunteers in this ministry.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Island ECC Regular Volunteers (male only)
Join our Island ECC regular volunteer teams to visit English-speaking brothers at Pik Uk Prison (Sai Kung) & Tung Tau Correctional Institution (Stanley). Registered volunteers will have the opportunity to join our visits at these mentioned facilities.
*Required: Volunteers must be at least 26 years old.
Other Volunteer Opportunities (male & female):
HKCKSA will provide more information for both male and female volunteers if they are interested in volunteering at other prisons or institutions.
*Training is mandatory for all volunteers to participate in this ministry.
