AI Seminar Series:

After decades of slow progress, AI has now captivated the entire world. Some believe that AI has exceeded human intelligence while others hold that it is just another piece of software, albeit a powerful one. Optimists view AI as the vehicle to bring humanity to utopia whereas pessimists see a road to dystopia. Yet skeptics and atheists seize the opportunity to promote an alleged conflict between science and religion and hypothesize that AI will bring salvation to humankind, thus ironically creating a new religion. Christians will face new challenges in the 21st century, but there is always hope in Jesus Christ.

AI Talk #2: Is AI Becoming the Worst Idol since Adam and Eve?

This is the second seminar of a two-part series on the interface between AI and Christianity. This second seminar will be focused on the impact of AI on the Christian faith. Church leaders have begun to use AI robots to give sermons, whereas atheists have hijacked AI to become a new religion that promises eternal life. Is AI transforming Christianity? Will there be conflict between AI and Christianity? How is the AI idol different from other idols since Adam and Eve?

Who AI Seminar #2 Is For: For anyone (Christian or non-Christian) who is interested in seeing how AI may impact Christianity in the 21st century.
