We're excited to announce that we'll be running the newest Alpha Youth program at Island ECC! Both high school and middle school students will be completing it alongside other English-speaking youth ministries and secondary schools in Hong Kong.
Alpha is a ministry that helps us answer big questions about our faith, such as: Who is Jesus? What is the church? Why did Jesus have to die? The format is a bit different; we gather in smaller groups and watch a video with embedded discussion questions. Alpha is a great way to learn about the Christian faith in a relaxed, informal setting, and is the perfect opportunity for students to invite friends who may be curious to learn more.
We're kicking things off with a big launch on Friday, February 21, at 6PM at The Vine in Wan Chai, together with other English-speaking youth ministries in Hong Kong.
After the kick-off on February 21, we'll continue to run Alpha during our regular small groups on Friday evenings at Island ECC. Middle school begins at 6:30PM on the 11/F and High school begins at 7:00PM on the 9/F. Dinner is included.
