What if I cannot make it this season?
Care Group Connect will be offered three times a year: in the Fall, Spring, and Summer. If you cannot make the current season, don't worry! You can always sign up for the following season.
What if I cannot make it to the days offered this season?
Each season will provide various options for meeting days. When registering, please select both your primary and secondary preferences for the day of the week you would like to join. Once you are sorted into a group, you will receive a confirmation email. If none of the days work in the current season, please check back in the following season as meeting days will be shuffled.
Is Care Group Connect the same thing as a Care Group?
Connect is the on-ramp to Care Group. Your Connect group becomes your Care Group at the end of 10 weeks.
What is a Care Group?
Care Groups are small communities of individuals that meet regularly across the city. Some will meet weekly, while others meet bi-weekly. Generally they will study a book of the Bible or some spiritual topic. Most importantly these communities exist to support one another through the ups and downs of life.
Can I join a group with people I know?
Absolutely! If you already have a full group or wish to be placed with specific friends, simply list their names in the "friend request" section during registration.
What if I cannot make it to Week One?
If you miss week one, your leader will contact you and you can still join the group. For the best experience, we recommend not missing more than 2 weeks. If your schedule does not allow for that, please feel free to sign up again when the next season of Connect begins.
What if I cannot make all ten weeks?
We understand that schedules can be difficult to predict, but we believe that it is important to commit to the entire process. This is ultimately how a group becomes a safe and transformative community. If you anticipate missing more than 2 meetings, we ask that you sign up again in the following season instead.
Are there any other ways to connect?
If you can't make it to Care Group Connect and are unable to wait until the next season, please fill out the form here, and a representative from the Care Group team will follow up with you to connect you to a group that best fits your needs.
