Care Groups & Fellowships

Community life serves as the foundation of our church experience. At Island ECC, we provide a diverse array of community options to accommodate the varying needs of our congregation.

For individuals seeking intimate connections, our Care Groups offer a small and supportive environment for meaningful sharing and growth. Conversely, for those who prefer a larger setting conducive to meeting new people and inviting friends to church, our Fellowship Groups may be more suitable.

We invite you to explore the community that best aligns with your journey.

Care Groups

Care Groups offer a close-knit community where you can build friendships and deepen your faith. These groups meet regularly to study, pray, and share life experiences together. Regardless of your life stage—whether you are a student, working adult, parent, retiree, or somewhere in between—we have a group for you.

Join Care Group Connect

Care Group (CG) Connect is a 10-week program designed to cultivate enduring spiritual community. CG Connect is the on-ramp to Care Group. Your Connect group becomes your Care Group at the end of 10 weeks.

Starting October 14th, 2025, CG Connect meets on Tuesdays from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm. If you are unavailable on Tuesdays, consider joining other established Care Groups or waiting for the next season of CG Connect.

Fellowships

Fellowships are larger communities that also provide a space to make friendships and deepen your faith. These large communities are always open to newcomers and typically focus on a specific interest or activity.

ARK Dragon Boat Team

ARK is a competitive dragon boat team and an active community for companionship and fellowship. We provide land and sea trainings and we participate in various local and international dragon boat races every year. Announcements will be made when ARK recruits new paddlers.
