Deb worked as a lawyer and had the opportunity to work on the pro bono programmes in her firm. After attending the 2015 Women's Conference, she felt called by God towards the cause against modern slavery and human trafficking. This call was met by the opportunity to serve trafficked women in Cambodia and revealed God's hand at work for Deb as He assured her through the circumstances of her life.
