Today is the most celebrated day of the Christian calendar. We join Christians worldwide who are joining to celebrate the reason for our faith---that Jesus Christ is risen from the grave. This remarkable event in history is the cornerstone for our faith. If the resurrection isn’t true, there is absolutely no reason for us to gather. If Christ did not rise from the dead, then His claims to be God would be invalid, and our faith would be meaningless. But for 2000+ years, archaeologists have yet to discover the bones of Jesus Christ. Our Saviour is risen! The same power that was demonstrated over death is available to all who believe. And though the resurrection is reserved for Christ, the power of a supernatural life is available to all. Power to rise above circumstances, power to love beyond normal capacity, power to withstand pressure and pain, and power to change internally. Our prayer is that your life would be characterised by this amazing power of God.
