Vietnam

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? — Psalm 27:1

Vietnam is a one-party communist state that was unified into one nation in 1975. Since 1986, Vietnam’s economic and political reforms have seen it become one of the fastest growing economies in South-east Asia. Nonetheless, the Vietnamese government has been known to harshly curtail religious freedoms, leading to international criticism of human rights violations. Island ECC is committed to spread and maintain the gospel message in Vietnam through our support of long-term partners and sending of short-term mission trips.

Long-Term Partnership

We support 2 missionary families in Vietnam; one is a church-pastor and the other plays an important role teaching in the seminary in Ho Chih Minh.

Short-Term Outreach Trips

*Due to the current global health situation, our Short-term Outreach Trips were cancelled or postponed. We will resume our Short-term Outreach Trips when situation allows.*
