Out of the mouth of babies and infants, You have established strength because of Your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger. — Psalm 8:2
Taiwan is an island nation widely considered to have pulled off an economic miracle, becoming one of the world’s foremost producers of computer technology, despite the diplomatic isolation China places around it. Christianity is a minority religion in Taiwan and traditional values and religions hold a prominent place in the heart of the populace. Island ECC sends a short-term mission team to work with churches to bless an aboriginal village by caring for their children in the summer and finding opportunities to share the gospel there.
We support 2 families in Taiwan. One family is sharing the gospel to the university students in Taipei. Another family is using their passion for surfing to share the gospel to the local surf community.
