What comes to mind when you hear words like “mission trip” or “missionary”? Does it sound exciting or intimidating?
Do these thoughts sound familiar to you, “If God wants me to be involved in missions, He will give me a special call.” or “I would have to give up a lot to participate in His mission; I will live in a jungle and a hut.”? But is it really true?
The truth is, God can use you, an average person (with or without a full-time job!), to bring the good news to people from other cultures and languages. Not only could He use you, but He delights in having you participate in His work!
Join this seminar and hear what “mission” actually is and how you could be a part of His work around the world. You will be inspired by the journey of a full-time mother, a business owner, a teacher, and an occupational therapist and how they live parallel lives in HK while loving another people group that God has placed in their hearts.
