The Power of Two (Seminar & Workshop)
“It takes two” – is a well-known lyric from a song about love but could also be used for what the Bible has to say about Justice! Our God cares for all those who suffer injustice and the social deprivation it brings; and we are called by God to partner with him in the outworking of His justice and mercy – Micah 6:8: hence, God’s plan is that it takes two. But to really make a difference here we need to get involved in and with those who suffer. But how?
How can we actively defend the rights of the poor and powerless? And, how can we do this in Hong Kong? Come to this important seminar/workshop to find out.
We will explore in scripture the passion God has for social justice; hear key information from IJM Thailand Field Office Director, Andrew Wasuwongse and engage with one another to discover practical ways to bring God’s mercy and justice to the powerless, especially in bringing an end to human trafficking and child labour.
Who is it for:
Adults, young and old, who care deeply how our lives can practically mirror the love and mercy of God.
