See the Bible come to life!
In early 2019 Island ECC will lead a trip to Israel where we will explore the same areas and cities that Jesus and the disciples lived and ministered to people. This trip will truly help the Bible come to life right before your eyes.
We will spend time in Bethlehem, Nazareth, Jerusalem and many, many other areas. You will see the Sea of Galilee, the Temple Mount, the Jordan River and the Mount of Olives – all places where Jesus walked. You will be overwhelmed by the history in some of these places that it will seem surreal that you are really there!
While the actual trip will happen over Chinese New Year, it all begins with a 4-week (4 Sundays) class on the life of Christ that will run from January 6 – 27. In the class we will explore His life and ministry to help us acclimate to the land we will be exploring (these classes are mandatory). During the trip, we will have a lot of time to see the sights and beauty Israel has to offer, and also time to reflect, pray, and worship together as a team.
This is not a “tourism trip.” It is called a “Study Trip” because there will be lots of learning happening before, during, and even after the trip.
This Study Trip is opened to those who regularly attend Island ECC and consider Island ECC their “home church.” Priority will be given to applicants who are actively serving in the church and there will be a limited number of spots available. Island ECC reserves the right to accept or deny acceptance of any applicant.

Cost:
The trip cost is between $28,000 – $30,000 per person, on double occupancy basis (i.e. 2 persons sharing a room). Trip cost includes (1) all pre-trip training and resources, (2) all trip expenses – air ticket, hotel, transportation, visa, food, gratitude, fuel surcharge, etc, and (3) all post-trip debriefing, reunion, etc.
Application Deadline: Application Deadline is October 14th, 2018.
Successful applicants will be informed by October 17th, 2018.
If you are accepted into this trip, you are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of $15,000 by Sunday, October 21, 2018. The final payment is due by Sunday, November 18, 2018.
