Rwanda

Date / June 15 to July 1, 2013
After the 1994 Genocide devastated the lives of the Rwandese, they have risen up to the hope and challenges of their lives. The older generation still carry the scars of the past, while the younger generation are building up their nation with the hope. There is also the youngest generation who did not experience the genocide and live in the bright hope of the present and future. Each of us here and there have an inheritance. What are we passing on from generation to generation?
As Rwanda’s economy improves and more foreign investments and interests pour in, the Rwandese youth are faced with many opportunities and challenges of living in a globalized world. We will share our experiences to further equip and root ourselves in the foundation to never forget the past, live in the joy of today, and always remember the promises for the future.
