2:7 Discipleship Classes (starting September 12, 2010)
(Registration is required to ensure arrangement of classes)
Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian for years, this 10-week discipleship class will help you develop a consistent practice of prayer, quiet time, Bible study and scripture memory, reviewing the important foundations of the Christian life. You will receive individual attention from mature trainers who will invest in enhancing your personal spiritual development.
Book Used: We will be following workbooks titled "Growing Strong in God's Family", "Deepening Roots in God's Family", and "Bearing Fruits in God's Family" based Colossians 2:7
published by the Navigators. It does entail weekly homework. There is no need to obtain the book ahead of time. You can purchase it at the first class when we will be covering lesson 1 together. Cost of book is HK$130
Format: Class will not be lecture style but rather there will be 2 co-leaders facilitating the discussions on the topics covered in the prior week's homework.
Size: Approximately 10 ladies/men per class. It does take effort to develop the spiritual disciplines required to grow in our faith and by being in a small group, we hope to foster accountability and spur one another on.
Topics Covered: Studies on Christ the Center, Obedience, The Word, Prayer, Fellowship, Witness. We will also learn how to do quiet time and scripture memory.

Biblical Finance Study
This study will teach you both Biblical principles and practical wisdom on managing money. It aims at creating a long term tranformation of the heart and addressing one's financial questions. The facilitator, Jeff Ryan, is experienced both in the banking industry and in teaching this class.
