About this Website
In a technologically advanced city like Hong Kong, we feel compelled as a church to provide our congregants with a web experience that is intuitive and attractive, as well as one that keeps our future goals in mind.
Framework
The main framework of the website utilizes a customized template running on the Ekklesia 360 content management system. This system gives our staff the ability to easily update page content with little to no programming knowledge. This version of the web site adds several new features like site-wide search and sermon audio and video management.

Social
The City is our online social tool create by Zondervan. The City provides a secure place for groups to share privately with one another and streamlines church communications.
It currently houses blog posts from leaders at Island ECC, and it gives the church a place to find information on upcoming events. These posts and events are fed into our content management system through RSS customizations.

Photographs
It was also important to us to build a web site using images of our church engaging with each other and engaging with God. Few stock image libraries provide the cultural and ethnic diversity that's represented by our body of believers and so we have worked hard to tell the story of the Island ECC family through images throughout this site.
Photographs have come from a few different sources, but primarily through Gary Fu and his team at Stars Production House here in Hong Kong. Additional photos have been provided by Ross Li, Jonathan Lau and Praize Ma.
